Membership Fees

Joining the Club

• Formal Application: We do not maintain an informal waitlist. Priority is determined strictly by the date your approved application and full fees are received.
• Mooring Availability: Slips are limited and assigned based on member seniority.
• Sponsorship: Applications require two CYC Member Sponsor signatures. If you have a previous club affiliation, please discuss potential sponsor alternatives with the Membership Director.

Vessel Restrictions

The CYC cannot accommodate boats exceeding the following dimensions:

• Length: 40 feet LOA (Length Over All)
• Beam: 14 feet
• Draft: 6 feet
• Ownership: Co-ownership is only permitted between a member and their spouse.

Membership Classes

• Full Voting Member: Includes voting rights, meeting attendance, and the right to keep a boat on the premises.
• Social Member (Non-voting): Includes gate/clubhouse access, emails, and social events. Does not include mooring, storage, crane, or pump-out usage.

How to Apply

1. Submit Forms: Send your completed Application and Release and Indemnity Form via Mail or Email to info@collingwoodyachtclub.com.
2. Payment: Include your initiation fee and first-year dues (plus HST). Applications are processed once payment is received.
3. Interview: The Membership Director will review your file, followed by an interview with the committee for you and your spouse.

Mandatory Work Hours

• All members contribute 10 recorded work hours per calendar year.
• Unfinished hours are billed at $100/hour.
• Tasks: Includes lift-in/out, club maintenance, cleaning, and event hosting.

Storage & Lifts

• Winter Storage: Available at the rates listed in the Fees Card.
• Summer Trailer Storage: Only permitted if the boat was stored on-site over the previous winter. Trailers must be clearly tagged with the owners name.
• Crane Fees: Determined annually based on crane service expenses.

2026 Fee Schedule

All fees subject to HST

Annual Mooring
$26 per foot (Length + Beam)
Ex: 25' Boat + 7' Beam = 32 units x $26 = $832

Transient Mooring
$50 / night (Flat Rate)
Includes pump-out and clubhouse access. Please book via email; we do not monitor the radio.

Winter Storage
$16 per foot (LOA)
